Lord, if Tom Cruise can have one good movie...

As a huge fan of the July 20 Plot, I took a look today at the trailer for Tom Cruise' new film, Valkyrie, about the conspiracy. Needless to say, I was a little worried. This is, after all, Tom Cruise playing Claus von Stauffenberg, the German Catholic aristocratic military officer who tried to kill Hitler.

While there were moments of Cruise-ness in the trailer, and the general Hollywood feel was there, the film does not necessarily appear to be a total disaster. I retain some hope.
